Orquesta Latina del Norte is the top Latin and Salsa band in Inverness, in the Highlands of Scotland. It was formed in 2008 by Campbell McCracken and Brian Dodds with the dual aims of having a band
that could play Latin music, and more specifically having a band that could play music for Salsa dancers.
The group's repertoire includes Salsa music, Cha Cha, Bolero, Boogaloo, etc.Campbell is a Salsa dancer and his wife Jermaine is a Salsa teacher. Campbell also plays in swing band Highland Swing. Brian plays in far too many bands for us to list them all here. He's a multi-instrumentalist and knows almost everyone involved in music in the Highlands of Scotland. The band is based in Inverness, Scotland, and rehearses at Crown Primary School on Thursday evenings. | |||
